Renato II

Neste Sábado meio chuvoso e frio voltei a desenhá-lo. Fui desenhando e escutando as conversas.

The day after tomorrow turn a month that my friend Renato is hospitalized. I remember well how he was the day he came in and how he is today. It's better and I´m happy with that, but I do not know when I'll visit him out of that place. I bring him chocolates, orange muffins, mint tea, dried fruit, a couple of books and cigarettes. The other day I gave him a pocket radio so he could hear (his) music, his eyes sparkled with emotion and excitement. In the midst of adversity and the difficult of the moment he is going through, he has kept intact the characteristics that make me like him. He help others, can not stand still watching others with difficulties and has a good heart.

On this rainy and cold Saturday, I drew him again. I bring the chocolates he asked for and batteries for the radio. I also brought a small cake to João, which he shared with me and Renato. I was drawing and listening the conversations. Among things vague and so often meaningless, I said something I did not resist writing, that applies to each of us in this magical journey that is called life.

"I just want to know something about my memory and about my past ... which is to know if I have done good things and not bad things."
