Manchester # day 0

We reached the city after six o'clock. Outside, near the station, was already Pedro Loureiro  drawing. Pedro has arrived a few days earlier, was in Liverpool, and had come to Manchester the day before. From the day he arrived until he left, he filled a complete sketchbook, and only with terrific drawings. What an amazing guy.
We said goodbye to Rosário, Maria Celeste, Maria José and Helena, who traveled with us but were in a different hotel. We left the bags, took a shower , and we joined the sketchers who have gathered at Peveril of the Peak Pub. We drank two beers, and we decided to have dinner at the pub across the street, the Rain Bar, a few minutes after eight o'clock. We got in, excited by the menu and the warm atmosphere of the place. Apparently, the kitchen had closed at eight (!), impossible to eat there ...
We went to dinner at the Gorilla, nearby, with good food and a very charming girl who atended us. Before eleven o'clock they gave us the bill, because the restaurant would close in a couple of minutes, and if we wanted to continue drinking, would have to go to the bottom floor. We paid the bill, less than twenty pounds each, and came directly to the street where we were talking. Across the road someone called us in Portuguese, it was Mario and Ketta with Matias by hand, which also returned to the hotel. We crossed the road running, and we were over there talking and making scenarios for the days ahead.
The International Symposium Urbansketchers was going to start, and we were going to be part of it!
